For thousands of years, mankind has been cultivating olive tree and reaping the benefits from almost every part of the tree – especially the fruits and the leaves. The olive leaves have been used in traditional medicine within the Mediterranean region.
OleaVita™ (olive leaf extract) was developed as a result of an industry-academia collaboration, based on the discovery made by a research team at the Louis Pasteur University. It was also published in “Nature”, a British scientific journal, in 2006.
